Trial Attorney With a Background in Business
My knowledge and skill as an attorney have been shaped by my experience of working for several years as an investment and insurance broker. This background allows me to blend business insight and legal acumen to reach creative resolutions across a wide range of practice areas, including from business litigation, employment law and civil rights.
Comprehensive Representation
I have argued cases at all levels of the New Jersey courts, from the trial courts through the New Jersey Supreme Court. I am equally comfortable presenting arguments before a jury at the trial level as I am presenting oral arguments before a panel of judges at the appellate level.
A growing number of cases are being resolved in arbitration, either by agreement or contract. Although arbitration might appear to be a simple alternative to court, the process is deceptively complex. Any party going into arbitration can benefit from legal representation.
Very few attorneys pursue training beyond the traditional law degree. I am one of a handful of New Jersey lawyers who have earned the prestigious Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy. I obtained this degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, a nationally recognized program which is routinely ranked as the top for trial advocacy training in the United States.
Also, I am Board Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. This honor illustrates my continued dedication to legal education, substantial involvement in litigation matters and unblemished reputation.
I am one of few New Jersey attorneys who have both an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy as well as Board Certification by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Specialist.
Law & Politics selected me for designation as a Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2009. In 2008, I was named on the Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition in the area of business litigation.
