Civil Trial Lawyer Emphasizing Litigation and Trial of Business Litigation, Employment Law, Civil Rights, and Related Matters
"The law is not an end in itself, nor does it provide ends. It is preeminently a means to serve what we think is right."
William J. Brennan, Jr., United States Supreme Court Justice
Representing Clients in a Range of Practice Areas
My focus is first and foremost as a trial lawyer. I have argued cases at all levels of the court system, from trial courts through the New Jersey Supreme Court. Setting me apart from most other trial lawyers, I earned a nationally recognized Master of Law degree (LL.M.), from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, I am board certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney, and I have been consistently recognized by Law & Politics Magazine as a "Super Lawyer" in the field of Business Litigation attorney and in the field Corporate Counsel.
In business litigation, I represent small and medium sized businesses in court and litigation - as plaintiffs to pursue claims, as well as defending businesses when claims are made against them. My goal is to provide aggressive legal advice and representation aimed for small and medium sized business in contract disputes, collection actions, brokerage disputes, construction disputes, employment claims, and a range of other issues that arise for the small and medium sized business.
I also represent individuals in a wide range of legal issues including civil rights, employees, consumers, and brokers, in number of areas such as construction, insurance, real estate, and securities. Those matters include employment law , discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and infringement of constitutional rights.
Many individual and business matters require that disputes be settled by way of arbitration. The arbitration forum is very different than the court system and arbitration rules and tactics can drastically affect your rights as an individual or a business. I have extensive experience in the area of arbitration, and the unique ways in which arbitration differs from the traditional court system.
